* History & Location: Our Principal, Lyn Clark-Duff FCA, has over 40 years experience as a Chartered Accountant and has been operating her financial services practice from Eastwood for over 3 decades. Whilst the majority of our clients are located in the City of Ryde and surrounding areas, we also have clients located in other Sydney and NSW country regions, interstate and overseas. Lyn's qualifications and registrations include Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (FCA Financial Planning Specialist); Certified Financial Planner (CFP): Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia (FTIA); Registered Tax Agent; Registered Company Auditor and Justice of the Peace (JP). Lyn has a commitment to ongoing professional development and staff training. Our team of well qualified professionals takes pride in the personal services we provide to our clients.
Lyn takes an active interest in issues affecting the local business community. She is Hon. Treasurer of Ryde Business Forum Inc. (RBF) and a member of Eastwood Chamber of Commerce Inc. Over the last few years, Lyn has been pleased to partner Macquarie University by providing work experience and supervision to students in two important career development programs: Work Experience Program (WEP) for Postgraduate Accounting students <www.careers.mq.edu.au> We have been very happy with the students' abilities and attitudes to work and have been able to offer employment to some. Lyn has been very involved in the sport of Netball over many years, in a range of volunteer roles including club treasurer, club and state league team manager, Treasurer of Eastwood Ryde Netball Association and Finance Director on the Board of Netball Australia. She served as a director of Netball Australia for 15 years before retiring at the AGM in May, 2007. In April, 2008 Lyn was appointed as Director and Treasurer of Macquarie Community College Limited. Lyn and staff members Julie & Liz have experience as volunteers in other community groups including welfare, sports and school bodies in the Eastwood / Ryde district. We have also been involved with a number of local, state and national associations in the not for profit sector as clients and have a good understanding of the special issues affecting that industry.
