Peter completed his Bachelor of Commerce at UNSW in 1978 majoring in Accounting, Finance & Information Systems and became a member of CPA Australia in 1982.

Peter's early career was at ICI Australia at Botany for 4 years followed by 8 years with the North Broken Hill Peko group (now part of Rio Tinto) During these early years Peter developed a love of manufacturing businesses. His experience included computer systems design and implementation, cost and management accounting and company secretarial. His last role with North Broken Hill was as a divisional finance manager.

Peter then went into business with his family and ran a franchised bookstore in the city where turnover increased by 50% to $4M in the first few years. Peter then returned to the accounting profession in 2002, combining working in a practice at Kensington with developing his own clients until December 2008.

In December 2007, Peter married Catherine and moved to Putney. He purchased the tax and accounting practice from Lyn Clark-Duff in December 2008.

Julie's Story

Julie grew up on a farm in central NSW and still considers herself a country girl, even though she has lived in the Ryde area for more than 30 years.

Julie completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Accounting at Macquarie University. Following her graduation, she worked in a public accounting practice in Chatswood before taking time off to start her family.

Joining Lyn Clark-Duff in 1998, Julie has built up her professional knowledge to become the Manager, Tax and Accounting for the practice. She trains all the younger staff members and is principal researcher for all of the more complicated tax issues. Julie is a member of CPA Australia, a registered tax agent and also a Justice of the Peace.

Liz's Story

Elizabeth (Liz) is our Administration Manager and usually the first face you see when you enter our office. Among her responsibilities is forwarding all the correspondence from the Australian Taxation Office, purchasing and archiving.
Liz grew up in Strathfield and worked as a vet nurse before starting a family.
She joined the firm in 1999 and last year celebrated 10 years service. She is a local girl, living in North Ryde with her family since 1980.

Erin's Story

Erin grew up in Shanghai, China where she completed a Bachelor of Business Administration. In 2007, she came to Sydney and began her Masters of Accounting at Macquarie University.

Erin participated in the Work Experience Program organised by the university in the last year of her study and got the chance to work at LCD&Co. She is really grateful for all the accounting and tax knowledge she gained.

Erin has recently graduated from Macquarie University in Master of Accounting (Professional). She is an Associate Member of CPA Australia and is studying the rest of the CPA Professional course while working for LCD&Co
